As Spring is in the air, work has begun on enhancing our school garden. Under the direction of Monika, parents are busy getting the ground ready for planting.
We have recently installed a new composter and the Green Schools Committee made a wormery, to help get rid of some food waste.
Áine from Seedsavers has been in to help us map out the garden and plan some new projects.
Shane, our shared HSCL, has been working with some parents in the woodwork room creating bird boxes.
The wonderful mosaic art created by last year's 6th class pupils has helped to keep our garden looking bright and beautiful over the winter months.
